Learning at home, starting with math for K to 3

Know what your child really knows.

Wiseling is calm, hands-on learning that meets your child right where they are. Nothing counts until your child can do it, show you how, and still remember it weeks later. So when Wiseling says they've got it, you can trust it.

We're starting with math for kindergarten through third grade. Reading and more subjects are on the way.

Homeschooling? Your records fill themselves in as you go. Kids in school? You get calm practice at home and a clear picture of how they're doing.

Free beta starts January 18, 2027. No ads, ever. Your child's work stays on your device.

First grade, sample skill

Add within 20

  1. Do it. Got 8 out of 8 right on the first try, with no hints.
  2. Show it. Used a pile of buttons to show you how 9 + 5 makes 14.

3 of 4 skills learned for this level

A skill counts as learned when your child can do it, show it and still know it later. Sample shown.

Do it. Show it. Know it.

Most math apps count taps. A child can guess their way to a gold star and not really know a thing. We wanted something better, so every skill in Wiseling goes through three steps.

  • Do it

Your child types their answer. Only first tries count, so guessing doesn't get them anywhere. Stuck? Wiseling backs up and offers an easier way in.

  • Show it

Your child teaches it back to you with real things, like coins or blocks. It takes about two minutes, and you get to see how they think, not just what they tapped.

  • Know it

The skill comes back a few days later, then a few weeks later. Still there? It's theirs to keep. Not yet? Wiseling brings it back with a fresh way to look at it.

What you get

  • Practice that fits your child

Every session starts right where your child is. Wiseling notices what's solid and what needs a little more time, and plans the next few minutes around that.

  • Progress they can see

Every skill your child truly learns moves them forward in the theme they picked, grouped by grade, so they can see "I'm in first grade, and look how far I've come."

  • Printed practice sheets

Print sheets made just for your child's next steps. Do two or three a week at the table, then score them in the app. Paper and screen work as one plan.

  • Records ready to review

A dated learning log, days and hours, work samples, a report card and a progress report, filled in as your child learns. Built first for South Carolina, with more states on the way.

  • Help for you, too

You don't need to be a math teacher. Short tips show you how to teach each skill, what to say when your child gets stuck, and what to grab from around the house.

  • Family link Coming

Follow along from your phone and add a second device. Your family's data is locked end to end, so even we can't read it.

Your child picks the theme

Every theme runs on the same learning underneath. Only the pictures and words change, so your child can switch any time without losing a thing.

  • Ready now

    Karate

Earn stripes on your belt, then move up to the next belt.

  • Coming soon

    Brick Builders

Click a brick into place for every skill and watch a hut grow into a tower, then a castle.

  • Planned

    Space Cadet

Power up a rocket one fuel cell at a time.

  • Planned

    Trucks

Finish deliveries and open up new routes.

  • Planned

    Classic

A quiet look with stars, for children who like it simple.

Calm on purpose

  • No ads, no prizes to buy, no leaderboards.
  • A miss is just "not yet," with a way to try again.
  • We cheer for effort and thinking, not speed.
  • No account to start. Your child's work stays on your device.
  • Progress your child earns is never taken away.

Built by a homeschool family

Wiseling started at a kitchen table in South Carolina, with a homeschool dad who just wanted to know if the math was really sticking. We've used it at home week after week while building it, and every screen has been shaped by a real child. Read our story.

Questions we hear a lot

What grades does Wiseling cover?

The beta covers math for kindergarten through third grade. We’ll add more grades one at a time, and each one gets tested with real families first.

Do we need to make an account?

Nope. Wiseling opens right on your iPad, no sign-up. Your child’s work stays on your device, and you can save a backup whenever you like.

How does Wiseling know my child really learned something?

We look for three things. Your child gets it right on the first try, without guessing. They show you how it works with real things, like coins or blocks. And they still know it when it comes back a few days and weeks later. Only then does it count.

Will it help with my homeschool records?

Yes, that’s a big part of why we built it. Wiseling keeps a dated log, days and hours, work samples and progress reports, all ready to review. We’re starting with South Carolina’s rules and adding more states. Think of it as a guide, not legal advice.

How much screen time are we talking?

Not much. Sessions are short and calm, at your child’s own pace. Printed practice sheets and hands-on teach-backs move a lot of the learning off the screen and onto the kitchen table.

What does it cost?

The beta is free. All we ask is a two-minute check-in each week so we can hear what’s working. We’ll share prices before the beta ends, and waitlist families hear first.
